La Kantina sits tucked away on Jl. Labuansait in Pecatu, offering a casual mix of restaurant, bar, and café vibes that fit well with Bali’s laid-back southern coast scene. It’s the kind of spot you might pop into after a morning beach session or for a relaxed brunch that stretches into afternoon catch-ups. The interior leans into a warm, boho style with wooden accents and rugs that make it feel inviting without trying too hard.

The menu reflects a thoughtful balance of local flavors and Western comfort food, so it caters well to a diverse crowd—locals, expats, and travelers alike. Dishes like chicken curry, Balinese rice bowls, and nasi campur provide a taste of the region, while lasagna or the burrito-style rendang bowl hint at the international flair. Smoothie bowls and freshly squeezed juices are popular for anyone looking to keep things light but flavorful, especially in Bali’s tropical heat. The dessert options, including coconut salted caramel cheesecake and carrot cake, catch the eye for a sweet finish, perfect with a cup of oat milk latte or a classic cappuccino.

The vibe throughout the day leans toward leisurely and chill. The friendly, easygoing staff and relaxed beat of the place make it a good fit for groups of friends or solo visitors who want to unwind, linger over the food, and soak in a bit of local flavor without the noise and crowds you often find in Kuta nearby. It’s a spot where people can enjoy quality food without feeling rushed, ideal for a calm lunch or an early dinner. Prices feel reasonable considering the quality and location, making it approachable rather than touristy.

La Kantina’s atmosphere and menu selection make it best suited for those who appreciate a blend of comfort and locality, with laid-back service and a space that encourages slow dining. Morning coffee drinkers, brunch lovers, and early evening social gatherings all find a home here, especially on days when you want something unpretentious but thoughtfully prepared.

The atmosphere is relaxed boho, beautifully decorated with carpets and wood matching the themw. Smiling and friendly personnel, and a perfect Chicken satay! With a perfect balance of nutty, spicy, vegetables, rice and raw salad. I Highly recommend!

Had such a great experience at La Kantina! I ordered the nasi goreng and it was absolutely delicious – packed with flavour and perfectly cooked. We came as a group and everyone left happy and full, which says a lot. Great food, great vibes, and lovely service. Will definitely be back!

Very nice restaurant that serves a range of western and local food and at good prices considering it’s an expensive area. We went back twice and we would definitely go back again.

our absolute favorite place in Bali Hands down the best burger I’ve ever had juicy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We were honestly surprised how good everything was. I even ordered the ramen (I was hesitant at first), but wow… it tasted just like a proper Japanese restaurant rich broth, perfect noodles, and so comforting. La Cantina became our go-to place for both lunch and dinner. We were staying in Uluwatu for 10 days and we literally came here almost every single day that says everything. The menu is so good you never get bored. The cakes are amazing (OMG), especially if you love desserts, the berries drinks were so fresh, light, and delicious you can really taste the real fruit. Everything always came out super fast, even when it was busy. The place itself feels warm, cozy, the kind of restaurant you want to sit in for a long time, not rush your meal. Staff are friendly, food is consistently great, and the vibe is just right. If you’re in Uluwatu, you must come here. We’ll definitely be back every time we visit Bali again

La Kantina is easily my favourite cafe in Uluwatu. It offers a mix of western and Indonesian food, all at friendly prices. I would say the menu can be expanded to add a bit more variety. The reason why I like coming here is very welcoming staff and spacious space with atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Thanks a lot for your hospitality!

Absolutely love this place. In a week, I’ve had two dinners and a breakfast. All of them was delicious, very well presented and fairly priced Service was not quick though. Be patient and you’ll be in heaven
